In the heart of a cruel and relentless winter storm, a small midnight-black cat finds themself lost amidst the endless hurricane of snow flurries. They cry, screaming for help as they catch a glimpse of a starry figure- a lone spark of hope driving them forward. The kitten struggles against the wind and ever-deepening snow, desperate to reach the stranger. Who will heed the call of the stars, saving this young kitten from the cold grip of a winter's storm? -- Within the shadows of the forest, a young freckled apprentice uncomfortably shifts her weight between her paws. Their gaze dances over the clan, skimming over each warrior's coat as they share tongues for the evening. Amongst the agile hunters and swift warriors within the clan, the apprentice finds themself increasingly unsure of their decision to remain. Where their paws fumble and falter, clan mates have effortlessly bested every hunt, patrol, and training practice. Starclan refuses to answer their prayers for an answer, even the stars seemingly turning against them. What will this warrior decide- Will they stay or leave? What sorts of relationships would make it difficult for them to leave? This cat will grow twice, once on 4/23 and again on 5/14 ! Ends 5/29 @ rollover (28 -> 29)

Username: ArithMedic Suda. A word said to mean heart in an ancient wolven language. It was also the name of a small creature, shivering pitifully in the snow. He pushed forward, no idea where he was going, but knowing he couldn’t turn back.
Memories kept him warm against the cold, although it was more likely hypothermia setting in and he was much too young to know it. Memories of his parents, who he may never see again. His feline mother fussing over him, cleaning his dirty fur after he rolled around in the mud. His canine father barking a laugh as he got himself stuck in another ridiculous situation. It was only the three of them in their cottage in the woods, but that was all Suda needed. His mother, his father, and Suda, their precious heart. It was all shattered that frighteningly cold winter, as if the weather were warning them or trying to protect them from their pursuers. A violent knocking at the door had his mother shoving him into the hidden pocket under the floorboards. His father grabbed his weapons from the wall and barricaded the door with their meager furniture, but it wasn’t enough. Six giant wolves broke through the door and easily overtook his father and mother, locking them in chains. One of the wolves spoke. “Where is the boy? I can smell him!” His mother sobbed hysterically, refusing to look towards the floorboards and instead forcing her gaze outside. “The winter was too harsh for him, and he was weak. We buried him yesterday.” The wolves tore apart the cottage but didn’t notice that the creaking floorboards contained a secret opening. Once they were sure no trace of Suda could be located, his mother and father were taken away. Suda kept hiding until hunger drove him out. Suda’s stomach growled against the howling winds that he limped head-first into. He could barely feel his paws but for the stones hiding beneath the snow digging into them. The torn-up cottage had barely any food left suitable for consumption, and he’d eaten all of it before setting off into the storm. What else could he do? His parents were gone, and any scent trail left by their wolven captors was long blown away by the time he’d emerged from the floorboards. He didn’t have the skills to survive on his own, though. He could only hope that his blind wandering would take him to some form of civilization. Ahead of him, something shone in the distance. Like a beacon of light in the shape of a cat, Suda surged towards whatever it is with renewed vigor. He cried out, no words escaping but yowls and mewls that he hoped broke through the current of wind and snow and sleet between them. The figure appeared to turn towards him. Suda’s fatigue then caught up to him and he lost consciousness. ---- Thorn grumbled about having to patrol the border in the violent snowstorm. All the others were tucked snugly in their beds with a roaring furnace to keep the knight’s quarters warm and cozy. She’d been unlucky enough to draw the short stick when they picked who would have to go out into the storm. It was an allied border as well, somewhere they wouldn’t have bothered patrolling if not for the recent political unrest in their neighbor country. A peculiar noise pierced through the howling wind, interrupting her grumblings. She turned to look for the source, ready to summon her familiar if a threat should appear, but she only spotted a barely moving black dot amongst the white blanket of snow. The tracks behind it were quickly filling in from the thick sheets falling down. Thorn moved closer to investigate and then began to run. Is that a kitten?! Her mind screamed, summoning her familiar to scoop her up and run faster as the black form stopped moving. She reached down and grabbed the kitten by the scruff and told her familiar to run back to the quarters as fast as possible. Although the wind turned biting as they ran, she knew that the kitten would not survive if she took any longer to return. It might not yet survive regardless, its body already cold and motionless from fighting through the storm. Her stomach twinged with worry as her own unborn infant seemed to squirm towards her charge. Thorn held the kitten tightly to her body. They will survive. I will make sure of it. |

Sorry for not explaining this! For those who did put some down, 100% ok ^.^ So you earn duck feed by running around doing things, it’s given instead of nothing. At the end of the event, any unused duck feed can be traded in at the Ranger Station which I’ll explain once the event is done. The Ranger Station Well, with the spring season getting only warmer, the all of the fowls aren’t very interested in staying around much longer. Some have even traveled out of the park already to head farther north. The ones with babies are staying around, knowing the heat helps them. But the Ranger Station seems to be packed full of them. Every time one of the Park Rangers turn around, they nearly bunt a goose across the building. It’s downright dangerous for everyone involved. They know some of you have some items you may not want or some Duck Feed leftover and they are ready to do anything to give them away. The old garage has become a safe haven for them all and a little booth has been set up. “Trade for Ducks, Geese, Swans, Chickens, and Turkeys” the sign reads. A very exhausted Park Ranger sits in the chair behind it, just watching all of the fowls run around or sleep. It’s like they haven’t had a chance to rest themselves. You walk over and they perk up, smiling to see another human. “Welcome welcome! If you have any leftover Duck Feed, feel free to fill out Form 1* here. Items found all over the park, along with any Fowl, are a possible prize, just like during the event. They will spin the wheel like normal and you’ll get a PM of the prizes! If there is an item you wanted and you want to trade one you got for another, just use Form 2**. If you’d like to specifically adopt one of our remaining Fowls, use Form 3***! Keep in mind, Form 3 requires at least 2 Duck Feeds and/or 2 items to request! These will be done last once everyone who won a friend initially gets made. Please have patience!” They take a deep breath and look at you excitedly. “If you have any questions you can PM us or just ask directly in the Topic. We’d love to verify this all to avoid confusion! Thanks for coming to The Duck Pond!” Form 1* *Please keep in mind this will run like the rest have and can only use Duck Feed to spin the wheel. You cannot win Duck Feed. There is no action or story. When The Duck Pond is 100% closed, any leftover feeds will spin the wheel so they can be updated for item database.

Treating them with these protects their diets and prevents bloating like bread can cause. The most common Duck Feeds are Peas and Birdseed. These popular treats are likely to attract some friends to your location and are encouraged to be safely fed by the park rangers! Lettuce and Grapes are both more sought after treats, even by those a bit bigger than a duck! They are more likely to attract bigger water fowls, which we all know have a bad, yet accurate, set of actions! These feeds are not a guarantee! Friend Or Foe: Friends: Ducks, Geese, Chickens! Foes: Swans, Turkeys It appears that some of the ducks are taking an interest to all the people walking and milling about. A few of them are even following you home! The Park Rangers can’t explain what’s going on, but agree it’s best you take care of them. With how much they love the snuggles and treats, perhaps they are just a dog placed in the wrong family! Recent reports indicate that some geese and swans have taken up residence in the area with all the people and treats available. Most have left people alone, but some have been charging and attacking. Park Rangers suggest treating them with respect and keeping your distance. Remain observant to the surroundings. And if you have treats, maybe rewarding good duck etiquette will have the geese and swans learn? It turns out some of the geese are reasonable! Though the Park Rangers are adamant not all are reasonable or nice, they encourage people to continue to make positive interactions with these water fowl. With the Geese learning that people are good, they hope the swans could eventually come around! If the geese can learn, so can the swans! And whatever else might be out there... The geese no longer chase people, it seems teaching them manners and feeding them has worked! The tired Park Rangers are thankful, looking like they might be geese and swans themselves from how many feathers cover them. With the Geese now being friends, it makes life easier and more are getting adopted and wanting to come home with you! Unfortunately, the Swans still chase people. There has been a report of a swan becoming friendly though, so there is still one last hope! At least it’s calm and easier to predict now. Though, there has been some people mentioning yet another mysterious bird in the meadows and forest. Can you help the Park Rangers look? It seems a new friend has appeared! A chicken from a local farmer seems to have been the mysterious bird. The Park Rangers aren’t sure how many chickens are now in the park, but they all seem friendly! They recommend adopting the birds, as despite the fact they mimic the ducks, they aren’t quite what the park wants. This at least also explains all the birdseed going missing around the area. Though further talk with the local farmers suggest another one of their birds might have escaped, but they aren’t too sure. Hopefully they are friendly like the chickens, but some of you have a feeling they won’t be… Will you find one? Well, that’s interesting! It’s a… turkey? The chicken was an unexpected find, but honestly the turkey just has you confused. According to the Park Rangers, the Turkeys are just like the swans: some are friendly and some just chase. They advise caution, but it appears that any friendly turkey are hanging out at the ranger station anyways. Them and the other ducks, geese, swans, chickens and now turkeys who all wish to be adopted. They opened the doors to this new thing called a trading station at their ranger station to just keep everything as smooth as possible. Thanks for checking them out! Customs & Breeding Tickets: These are exclusive to my custom imports and any future breedings I perform. They never expire, and you can stack the 10C$ off coupons as much as you’d like! Also known as cat tracks. - Tail just happens to be more vibrant than the mane for flaxen gene expression. The tail took me an hour. 100% worth it, was mostly a learning experience! If you want the eye color changed, let me know. Was doing this at every kiddo nap and then when he went to bed lol. |

Well, back in the day anyways. Before our world turned upside down. Some would consider it the end of the world. Most would consider it the end of advanced civilization. The current world consists of livestock and carts, traveling merchants, scavenging for supplies, and well, surviving. Capracorns sure have changed since then. Formerly standing at a max of 2 feet tall with small dull horns and petite legs and hooves. Nowadays you’d be shocked to see a Capracorn smaller than a large pony. And don’t touch those horns! One would think they started sharpening them on wet stones they’re so sharp. Capracorns serve a new purpose. Horses are few and far between. Very rarely seen in pastures of the well off. Capracorns were a natural first choice! Until people realized just how sharp those horns have gotten. Gentle re-domestication seemed to be the best route. Used to pull carts, plow fields, move hefty logs.. the list goes on. Very rarely they are seen as just a riding animal. Usually only those in higher standings have the luxury. But come one, come all!
