One of my friends showed me one of her lovely photographs, and it inspired me to draw a faucet. It's not her exact picture, but I found this photograph easy-to-draw and relaxing, so I came out of my art block and dared to draw. Hope you all like it!

INFO TIME -
I lived in Japan for four years, from when I was three until I was seven, because I'm a military brat.
Aka, my dad was in the air force, but now we're back in the states.
Don't get me wrong, Its cool here, but I miss the epic indoor pools, the gloomy days, the ice cream vending machines (best idea ever btw), and being able to finish homework by lunchtime.

COMMUNITY
You must read all the species rules and be familiar with them.
You may own as many tolters as you would like.
You must own a tolter for a minimum of 2 weeks before rehoming (if you cannot wait 2 weeks you may message me).
You cannot use a tolter that you do not own, on or off-site, without proof of permission from the owner.
You cannot use a tolter design as a detailed reference for another species/design, on or off-site.
You cannot transfer tolters to another species or breed, on or off site.
You may gift tolters to others but must fill out the proper form to do so.
You may trade tolters for other tolters, slots, vouchers and art.
You cannot in any way profit from tolters. You cannot sell tolters, their designs, or their slots.
You may have a maximum of 2 customs per month, this includes semi-customs.
If you are banned from the species or CS your tolters will be rehomed, you cannot use their designs in any way.

TOLTERS
Tolters have a total of 10 breeding slots.
They cannot be bred more than 4 times per month.
They are considered bred at the time the foal is posted, not when the breeding is accepted.
Foals will age after 2 weeks and cannot be bred until that time, whether they were posted on the foal lines or not.
Inbreeding of tolters will not be tolerated, foals resulting from inbreeding will be made sterile immediately.
Tolters must have an up to date stable page in order to breed.
Height ranges from 12.3hh to 15hh.

ARTISTS
If you accidentally do a breeding twice, the owner must keep the first and the second will be readopted as foundation.
Guaranteed pass trait rounds must be chosen in a raffle format and the results livestreamed.
You should avoid entering regular custom opportunities for the community as you can get customs upon request.

Banned users are unable to participate in Tolter related events, adopts, giveaways, breedings or custom openings.

For a large period of time, Plumerians [Ploo-mair-ee-ins] were believed extinct. Scientists found fossils of them in
temperate areas, but never a live specimen. Recently, though, a couple of living Plumerians were
discovered deep in the Amazon rainforest. Many spottings of them in various areas occurred after
wards. Although they are still considered endangered, various breeding programs and wildlife reserves
have helped this ancient species make a comeback. Their numbers are rapidly growing, and it's
expected they'll be taken off the endangered list very soon.

ａｐｐｅａｒａｎｃｅ
Plumerians don't seem fully canine or feline. Their anatomy is similar to a mix of that of a fox and a
leopard. Their feathers are fully connected to their bodies, and can't be removed without force.
As kits, their feathers are very small and down, but they form more fully and grow more vibrant
as the kits do. Feathers *do not* grow back if they are lost, but it is very unusual for a Plumerian
to lose their feathers, as they're quite firmly attached. They're thought to be used to
attract mates and startle predators. Plumerians are omnivorous. Their diet mainly consists of
insects, but it's often supplemented with small animals, leaves, nuts, and berries. Individuals
may also show preferences for other foods, so their diets are highly varied.
Their glowing beads may be used to attract insects and small creatures, in the way
an anglerfish attracts prey in the sea. They can bob and weave a lot, and often look like
small fireflies in the night. They commonly attract moths.

Ok, yes. This is Anna knocking on the door of the TARDIS. Here is my ref for the TARDIS: X and here is my ref for Anna: X

I think something like this may have been done before, but I thought this was much cuter.
For those who don't know, the scene with the TARDIS is from the very first episode of Seasoon 7.5 of Doctor Who, called "Snowmen", in which Clara and the Doctor happen to fight some snowmen. In this episode, The Doctor had decided he is done with people and he is now just sort of hiding up in his TARDIS, trying to keep from hurting anyone else. Clara happens upon the TARDIS, which is sitting in the clouds (Exactly how he got it up there I cannot remember), and knocks on the door. These things all came to my mind when I thought of this drawing, so this is how I have tied the two together.

Also. While I was drawing this, I realized something else amazing.

Anna is GINGER!!!

Until then, I'm just fine being me. <3

This is my character, Jeremiah. He's a flying floofy fluffball. Design-wise he's pretty plain, just white, but I feel that it makes for an interesting challenge to make such a simple character seem interesting.
What's those weird blotches of color on his fur, you say? It's my attempt at iridescence. Ever since I first thought him up I always imagined he'd have fur that gleamed the colors of the rainbow when the sun hit him, though I'm bad at drawing it out. ^^'

This was a sort of rant turned into a more positive viewpoint. With hard work and determination, I feel I can eventually prove myself, though the question here really is, what am I trying to prove? I've been in a very soul-searchy mood lately or something, haha.

What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Mutato of the Week!
Every week I or a designated Staff Member will select a Mutato of the Week out of the applicants
The Mutato of the week will be determined solely by the number of likes on its Official Oekaki page!
This is an Official Oekaki Page
Mutatoes may win MotW more than once, but not in consecutive weeks
Ex. The winner of Week 1 is not eligible to win Week 2
You may not create new threads just to advertise your Mutato- this is spam
You may create character threads for your Mutato to keep track of art and stories
You may not harass other players to like your Mutato
You may put a note about Mutato of the Week in your signature.
Winners will receive a ribbon with the week number on it!

Q: How do I adopt a Mutato?
A: You can either browse the "Colored-in" thumbnails or use the Available Mutatoes Guide in the first post to pick a design that you like. Then, following the rules in the first post on the design thread, fill out the criteria/form that the artists provide by the end date posted. Make sure to check that the end date has not passed and that the Mutato is not an artists' custom. After or by the end date, the artist will select the best form and award the winner the Mutato.

Q: Can I apply for more than one Mutato at a time?
A: Yes! But you may only OWN five!

Q: What is an extra?
A: An extra is something that is not asked for in the form. For example, if the form only asks for Username, Mutato name, reason for the Mutato name, and one piece of art, then anything else is considered an extra- like theme song, poetry, personality. Likewise if the form only asks for Username, Mutato name, reason for Mutato name, and a personality, then anything else including art is an extra. In this case, only one piece of art is allowed. GIF's and other copy/paste things like borders and bullets are not considered extras and fall under the category of "prettying up the form".

Q: Why are the Oekaki images not the actual Mutato?
A: The Mutato lines are animated and not something the Oekaki supports. Instead, the images created by Oekaki are placed into the animated lines.

Q: Can Mutatoes be fursonas?
A: I have absolutely no problems with that!

Q: The "Select All" URL code on the Mutato Oekaki pages, can anyone use it without owning it?
A: No, this is only for the winner's use.

Q: What do I do with my Mutato if I don't want it anymore? Can I give it to a friend?
A: PM Akami-chan and it will be put up for Re-Adoption! You may not give it to a friend.

Q: Can I be an artist/guest artist?
A: Anyone can be an artist or GA- just apply here: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1867997

Q: Can I post after the second post is reserved, or do I have to wait until the animation is posted?
A: As long as the second post has been made by either Akami-chan or Tsukiko-pyon, then you may post!

Q: Will there ever be RU (Runner-up) Mutatoes?
A: Yes, Mutatoes with 35+ finished forms are allowed runner-ups!

Q: Am I allowed to add accessories to my Mutato?
A: I personally don't care, but I will not make any edits to the lines.

Q: I'm an artist/guest artist- can I still apply for other artists' Mutatoes?
A: Of course!

Q: For the people who win the Artist Competition, do you PM them or post on their thread?
A: Tsukiko or I will post on your thread.

Q: Do Mutatoes have genders?
A: This is up to the owner. Gender is not an important part of this species.

Q: Are Mutatoes an intelligent species? Can they read, do they have their own language?
A: Mutatoes behave like any pet. They have conscious, deliberate thought and personality quirks. Some can read, but Mutoes don't have a special written or spoken language. Instead, they communicate through motion and gestures.

Q: Can I show my Mutato on another website?
A: Yes, as long as you link back to this thread.

Q: Can I make edits to the Mutato animation? (To add items or other things)
A: No. You may not under any circumstance edit the Mutato animation.

Q: Can artists reserve numbers for bubbletails or statictails?
A: No, artists are not allowed to reserve numbers.

Q: Can anyone make Mutato giftart?
A: Of course!

Artist Custom Rules
One out of every 10 Mutatoes you design may be a custom
You may gift these to friends
These custom slots may not be bribed, bought, or auctioned unless you have Akami-chan's explicit permission
Yes, this means you may have more than 5 Mutatoes
However you may not gift Mutatoes to non-artists who already have 5 Mutatoes

Selling Mutatoes
-full artists are allowed 1-in-20 to be for sale
ex. (premade designs like auctions)
-customs for sale must overlap with the artists' 1-in-10 custom
ex. (as in a customer requests a specific design)
-Artist must have at least 10 designs made to be eligible
ex. (#11-20 (1 for sale) #21-40 (1 for sale) #41-60 (1 for sale) etc.)
-Raffles are not available yet

ABOUT GA PROMOTIONS

Deadlines.
We've been having an issue with Mutatoes that go unchecked and unjudged.
From now on you are allowed to be 1 day late for closing or extending forms. If you do not end on the day of or the day after the deadline, we will end or extend it on the second day after the deadline for you.
Ex. Your end date is January 1st. The last day you can end or extend is January 2nd. If you do not end it on the 1st or the 2nd, Tsukiko or Akami will end it for you on the 3rd.
You have 7 days to judge the forms after they've been closed. If forms are not judged within this week, then a winner will be picked for you and posted on the 8th day after forms were closed.
Ex. The judging period is from January 4th to the 10th. If a winner is not chosen and posted within that time, then a winner will be chosen for you and posted on the 11th.
After that you have another week to edit your drawing to add the Adopted Ribbon. Failure to do so within the given time without a suitable notification will result in removal from the team due to inability to respect deadlines.
Ex. You have from January 12th to the 18th to add the Adopted Ribbon. If you are unable to, then you need to notify Akami or Tsukiko. If you fail to add the ribbon or notify either admin, then you will be removed from the team.

Special Announcement.
Number guessing and any random guessing games for Mutato contests are banned. If I see any artist doing these they will be removed from the team.
Any kind of "form criteria" that doesn't have a deadline (i.e. number guessing, scavenger hunts) are banned.

Concerning Runner-ups!
If your design has 35 or more finished applications, then you may award runner-ups if you deem it appropriate!
Runner ups should be posted from the MAIN Mutato thread (this one) and numbered accordingly
RU's should resemble the original without being an exact copy. Design alterations as well as color alterations are acceptable as long as the general theme and motifs remain the same.
Only one RU may be awarded per design.
A link to the RU design should be placed in the first post of the original mutato design.
Please award these responsibly. Any abuse of this option will result in a warning and then a removal from the team.

How to color a Mutato
Upon opening the base file, you will see five layers named:
Title (remove), Divider, Eye (Rmr to Lock), Top (Rmr to Lock), Bottom (Rmr to Lock)

I will explain what to do with each of the layers

First, make sure you have Lock Alpha checked
There should never be a time where you need to turn off Lock Alpha
Remove the Title Layer
Self-explanatory
Choose ONE SOLID COLOR for the eye color
Color in the white semi circle at the left of the canvas on the Eye layer
Use the Top layer to make a design for the TAIL of the Mutato
Please note that not all of your design can be used
Use the Bottom layer to make a design for the BODY of the Mutato
Please not that not all of your design can be used
DO NOT USE BLACK and avoid super dark colors
Dark colors make viewing the lines difficult
Make sure the design on the body and tail are noticeably different
Having both designs the same makes the overall adoptable boring

Once you finish your design, post it and wait.
I will create the animated Mutato
I will post it beneath your intro post
All adoption forms go in the first, intro post
Forms must include Username of the person
The name of the Mutato
And another criteria that you add
I will leave judging to the respective artists

I knew exactly what I wanted to draw as soon as I saw this amazing editable; Cry in his Bloody Trapland outfit! ...Except the outfit is actual fur here. xD He even has his little blanket! ;w; I couldn't draw the other ear because I wasn't quite sure where it would go, lol. I hope you don't mind the line edits~

The universe is being torn apart by a mysterious disease. Worlds and souls are dying at a rapid pace. Something has to be done or nothing will be left.
