Species Info:
Galingale Striders are diverse creatures, each unique to one another in thanks to the broad characteristics of the species. Coats of the striders have been found to relate to several animals, including even aquatic creatures. They have an equine body, with legs of a deer, and a long reptilian tail. Most notably, however, is the large mane of feathers, which can present themselves in a wide variety of colour and design. They serve both as camoflauge and to attract mates, and have fashionable value to humans. It's also notable that males show fangs in addition to the strider's canine teeth, as well as horns. These intelligent and elusive beings, when in the wild, tend to herd together in groups of five all the way to twenty-five, and are observed to be omnivorous. Recently, it's become popular to own some of these beautiful creatures, and show them off.

Unique Features:
• Eyes glow at night
• Tri-toed hooves

• Height range: 14.0 hh - 18.3 hh
• Always have dapples, lighter or darker, that extend along spine

Coat Rarities:
• Horse | Common
• Canine | Uncommon
• Feline | Rare
• Aquatic | Rare
• Reptile | Very Rare
• Combined coats take on the most rare of shown traits
• Feathers can be any colour and design

Rules:
• Be familiar with cs adopt rules. No art/character theft, no begging, etc.
• Do not make your own, Galingale Striders is a closed species.
• Do not ask for customs.
• Do not claim or use someone else's strider.
• V1 striders cannot be sold, traded, or gifted. Striders under this cover may be traded or gifted only.
• If you no longer want a strider from either version, you can PM me to have it readopted.
• You may not be added to your strider's oekaki.

Ownership:
• There is no limit to the number a user can own.
• A single user can only win 5 galingale striders each calendar month.
• Customs only exist as payment for staff and as event prizes.
• To trade or gift a strider, the original and new owners must post on the strider's page.

Breeding:
• Mares have 5 breeding slots. Stallions have 8 breeding slots.
• Breedings require a mare and a stallion
• If using another user's strider, you must present a screenshot of the permission and stipulations.
• Breeding isn't always open, have a pair prepared and don't pester an artist to open.
• Gender and one inherited feature may be requested, but nothing more.
• It's important to keep track of slots - extra foals will be deleted once discovered.
• Foals have to wait one month to breed.
