Environmental good news! The Blue iguana (Cyclura lewisi) is getting support coming back from the brink of extinction. It's thought they got down to 15(!) individuals in 2002. Recovery efforts quickly jumping in and started captive breeding populations and doing reintroductions back into the wild. In recent years it was downlisted from critically endangered to endangered and hopefully with help from several committed groups, the population will continue to rise.
