She turned around to face him. "It's a lot but it's actually easy, this particular herd has a lot of calves which you aim for an easy target. Unless you want a big meal you'll have to hunt adults which is trickier but with a lot of practice it gets better. For the two of us I think a calf will be fine. All you do is wait till they get away from the mother or far away from the herd and then you sprint for it. If you manage to get it strangle it and drag it off before they can hurt you with their horns, because they WILL try and save their offspring. Clear enough?"

She purred before looking down at the zebra carcass. "We should probably bring this back to the pride, don't you think?"

Listening to her instructions, he seemed a little concerned at the sound of possibly getting hurt. Nonetheless, he still understood. "Crystal clear."

"Alright then, let's go." She turned back around and crouched getting nearer to the herd. She targeted the nearest calf.

Crouching down as well, he followed her. Looking at the same calf, he asked to make sure. "That one, right?"

Kayonna nodded "Keep down and stay quiet." She waited for the calf to come away from it's mother and wander off into the distance away from the herd. She let out a small growl and then charged "Go!" She yelled to Jelani and sprinted after the gazelle hearing the warning calls of the gazelles.

Startled by her sudden cry, he stumbled for a moment before regaining his balance and giving chase towards the gazelle.

Kayonna had soon gotten the calf down, but the herd was not going to give it up. Two adult gazelles charged for her she faced Jelani and cried "Kill the calf, I'll keep these away!"

Pouncing on the calf, he quickly tried to suffocate it and drag it away before any more members of the herd would notice. He tried to ignore the young animal's kicking and squirming, but it was pretty irritating.

Kayonna roared at the bewildered gazelles which tried to get their calf back, but it was too late. They gave in. She bounded over to Jelani. "Did you kill it?"
