*Exception - somatic, when being used to alter appaloosa into peacock appaloosa and overo into manchado overo, constitutes as an 'uncommon' tier gene - it may only be represented as a 'rare' tier gene when used to distort existing genetics abnormally.

Tail Striping | +Tail Stripes (White or black stripes, often with other colors added in, along section(s) of the tail - as seen on the mascot. Fun fact! Tail striping on Sveldalas is an easy way to spot a true wild lineage, as this is a recessive gene that does not often reproduce well in captivity. The reasoning is unknown, but is likely associated with inbreeding often noted in more isolated wild herds.)
