xXxPrompt Answer:About Friendship:
In her life, Shay has experienced many hardships and knows the value of a true friend. To her, a friend is someone who will always stand by her side and keep their head up when times are rough. Friendship means that they will tell her when she is in the wrong, and give advice on how to fix it. Her trust and friendship is earned through hard work, and it is not something easily won. If Shay considers someone a friend, it is the highest honor she can give them.
Why?
As a viscling, Shay had been bullied and harassed by the others due to her magical prowess. Because of this, she never had any confidence in herself and couldn't trust anyone she met. She felt isolated and completely alone through her entire childhood, unsure of what to do. The only thing that brought her comfort was practicing her conjurations. As she grew more skilled, she built up the courage to attempt to be accepted in the Mage's Circle, where she first met
Marrock, the restoration expert of the circle. Although her skills were great, she lacked the confidence to perform to her best abilities and ultimately did not get accepted. Marrock saw her true potential and her true power and reached out to see if he could help her. Of course, she pushed him away, but he persisted. Eventually, Shay let Marrock start breaking down the barriers and her true colors shined. Marrock was patient and easy going, slowly earning Shay's trust over a matter of many years, despite Shay's lashing out, anger, and mistrust. When Shay felt ready to try for the Mage's circle again, Marrock stood by her side, giving her the courage and the strength needed to succeed. Through time and extreme patience, Marrock was able to even pave the way for Shay to meet and befriend other Viscets. Unfortunately, she reverts back to her shell when Marrock is away. He brings out the best in her, and she brings the best out of him. The duo is inseparable, and Marrock makes Shay feel like she can due anything, More importantly though, he taught her the most valuable lesson anyone ever could. He taught her that other Viscets could be trusted and that she didn't ever have to be alone ever again.
